Chilli fish recipe, spicy yet super addictive Indo-Chinese fish dish is a treat for every fish lovers. This spicy fish chilli is made with onions, garlic, peppers, sauces, chillies. Enjoy this delicious chilli fish by itself or with fried rice or noodles for a complete meal.
Make Chilli Fish Sauce - Start by making the sauce. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, onions, green chillies, capsicum and saute on high for 2 minutes. Add in tomatoes and toss on high for a minute.
Now add in soy sauce, green chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, red chilli powder, salt, sugar, MSG and mix well. Pour in ¼ cup of water and bring it to a boil. Take it off the heat and set aside while we fry the fish.
Marinate Fish - Take fish and all ingredients given for marination and mix well. Set aside while you heat oil.
Frying Fish - Heat oil for deep frying, drop fish in hot oil and fry till golden brown. Strain the fish on some paper towel.
Tossing Chilli Fish - Reheat the sauce on high heat. Add the fried fish into the sauce and toss on high heat. Sprinkle black pepper powder, spring onions and mix well. Serve hot.
