Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Cream 25% fat
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • For Caramel:
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Cream 25% fat
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Take ¼ cup sugar in a nonstick sauce pan..Heat till the sugar starts to melt. Keep cooking, it will start to get darker in colour and golden.
  • Once it reches that stage, remove from heat and add in cream and mix well. Add in salt and vanilla. Mix well
  • Leave this to cool down.
  • Take milk, cream and remaining sugar in a sauce pan and boil it. Once it boils, turn off the heat and remove it.
  • Let both the mix cool down completely. Now pour the milk mix over the caramel and give a good mix.
  • Pour this into a container and freeze for 3 hours.
  • Once it is frozen, scoop this into a mixer and give a good whiz. Pour it back into container and freeze another 3 to 4 hours. blend this for one more time and freeze overnight.
  • Scoop and serve.
