Homemade Chocolates Recipe | Chocolates using Cocoa powder
If you think making homemade chocolates is hard, then think again. This recipe for making chocolates at home is easy, simple and delicious. Making chocolates at home takes only 5 ingredients like milk powder, cocoa, sugar, butter and flavourings. Line a square pan with parchment paper and set aside. Take milk powder, cocoa powder, salt in a bowl. Whisk this together till combined and set aside.
Take sugar and water in a pan, bring it to a boil. Now cook this till it reaches one string consistency. Once the consistency is reached, add in butter and vanilla and mix on low heat till butter is melted completely.
Now take it off the heat and add in the cocoa milk powder mixture and give a good stir. Don't over mix, once it comes together, transfer to a parchment lined baking pan. Place another sheet of parchment paper on top and smooth the top using a small flat based measuring cup.
Let this set at room temperature for 1 hour. Cut into 16 squares and enjoy.

Use good quality cocoa powder for flavour and taste.
You can add finely chopped nuts and dried fruits for texture and taste.
Don’t over cook the sugar syrup, else the chocolate mixture will get crumbly.
Use milk powder and not baby formula or baby milk powder.
Vanilla and salt provides balanced taste in the chocolate, but you can add any flavourings as you prefer.
Serving and storage
Homemade chocolates can be stored at room temperature for 1 day. You can keep in fridge in an air tight container upto 4 to 5 days.
