1 cup Sago ( Sabudana / Javvarisi ) 750 ml Milk ½ cup Sugar ½ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk (milkmaid) 1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder 3 tablespoon Mixed Nuts I used cashews, pista, almonds Nuts 1 teaspoon Ghee optional
Wash sago well in water, Cover them with fresh water and soak them in water for a hour. Now it must have doubled in size.
Take milk in a sauce pan, bring it to boil. Simmer till it has reduced a little. It will take around 15 mins.
Now add in sago, mix well. Simmer the flame and cook for 20 mins.
Now add in sugar, condensed milk and mix well.
Once it is mixed up, add in cardamom powder and nuts. If you wish, heat ghee and fry up the nuts and add it in.
Mix well and serve warm or cold.
