Mushroom paratha is a tasty Indian flatbread made with soft chapati dough and a flavorful mushroom filling. It is crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, which makes it perfect for everyday breakfast, lunch or dinner. The spicy mushroom stuffing has a rich taste that pairs well with curd, pickle, butter, curries or can be enjoyed on its own.
Make Dough - Start by making dough by mixing flour, salt, oil, water. Knead it to a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes till you make filling.
Make Filling - Heat oil in a pan, add in onions, green chillies and saute lightly. Add in ginger garlic and mix well. Add in mushroom and keep cooking till is done. Now add in cumin powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder, salt and mix well. Now add in spring onion and mix well. Filling done.
Roll Paratha - Take your dough. Divide into 12 equal balls. Take two ball and roll it out. Place filling over one paratha and cover with other. Roll this out gently and put it on hot tawa.
Cook paratha - Drizzle oil on both sides and cook till golden. Remove and serve.
