Peanut nutella is a delightful twist of the classic nutella recipe. I have substituted the traditional hazelnut with peanut. This rich, creamy and chocolaty homemade spread is prepared using roasted peanuts, cocoa powder, brown sugar, chocolate chips and oil. Making it perfect for spreading on a toast, drizzling over desserts, or filling the pastries or simply enjoying by the spoonful !
Take chocolate chips and 2 tablespoon oil in a sauce pan and melt on a very low heat till it is melted. Set aside.
Take peanuts in a kadai, dry roast till it is well roasted. Remove it and cool it down. Take it in a blender, add cocoa powder and brown sugar and powder it.
Keep blending it till oil comes from the mix and the mix turns moist. Now add 2 tablespoon of oil and blend till creamy Now take this in a bowl. Add in melted chocolate and mix well.
Now spoon this in a container and store in fridge.

Here are some of the tips and tricks for peanut nutella :
Roast the nut in low flame, which releases the oil from nuts naturally and results in a creamy spread.
For time consuming, you can use store bought roasted peanuts with skin off.
If you want the taste to be more rich and creamy, use good rich quality chocolates.
Storage & Serving
Store the homemade peanut nutella in a sterilized airtight container. It stays good in the refrigerator for 2 months.Serving : When it comes to serving the nutella, the options are endless. Like you can spread on toast, use it as a dip for fruit platter, filling for pastries, drizzle on ice cream, or as a crepe filling etc.
