Easy and delicious prawn salad also known as shrimp salad or prawn avocado salad. This recipe uses a creamy dressing that is not made with mayonnaise which is addictive. Learn how to make perfect prawn salad with stepwise pictures and video.
Mix all ingredients for the salad dressing in a bowl, it will get thick and creamy. Place it in fridge until ready to use.
Take prawns in a bowl. Sprinkle salt, pepper and spice powders evenly over the prawns. Heat oil in a pan, place prawns on the hot pan and cook for 2 minutes. Flip over and cook for another 1 minute. Now add in butter and lemon juice and toss well. Remove and set aside.
For flavouring avocado, take slices of avocado in a bowl. Add in salt and lemon juice. Toss well and set aside.
For assembling salad. Take lettuce in a plate, place avocado, top with grilled prawns and salad dressing. Serve immediately.
