Chocolate Icing recipe, a basic icing recipe made with just three simple ingredients. This simple cocoa glaze is made with icing Sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder and milk. This is a Perfect icing to drizzle over cakes, cupcakes or even sugar cookies.
Sieve icing sugar and cocoa powder if you find it lumpy. Take it in a mixing bowl. Heat milk in a sauce pan or in microwave.
Pour hot milk slowly very little at a time and mix well using a whisk. If you are making a large batch, you can use an electric beater but mix them on low speed till it reaches the desired consistency.
You can use this to decorate cakes, cupcakes, birthday cakes, layer cakes or even brownies. Leftover cake be stored in an airtight container in refrigerator.
