Vanilla Sheet Cake Recipe with Step by Step Pictures. Delicious vanilla flavoured simple sheet cake recipe sprinkled with confetti which taste so delicious and moist.
Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a sheet cake pan ( I used 6x9 sheet pan or similar to that with parchment paper and set aside.
In a mixing bowl. Take eggs, vanilla and sugar in a bowl and whisk well for 2 to 4 mins till light and frothy.
Add in oil and milk and mix well till creamy. Add in flour, baking powder, salt and fold gently.
Finally sprinkle in the confetti and fold gently. Spoon the batter into the sheet pan and bake for 15 mins or so till the cake is springy to touch and baked.
Remove the cake from oven and let it cool completely.
I used cream cheese frosting. Frost the cake with the frosting and top with sprinkles. Slice and serve.

Mix the batter for the cake gently. DOn’t over mix the batter else the cake will turn dense.
Use melted butter instead of oil for better flavour.
Confetti is optional, you can skip that.
