Vietnamese coffee also known as Cà Phê Sữa Đá is a speciality brewed coffee which is bold, intense and rich in flavour. It is traditionally brewed using a phin filter which makes it truly unique. The hot brewed coffee is poured over condensed milk and served with ice.
Take a serving cup, Drizzle in some condensed milk to taste. place the phin filter on the cup. Add in 2 tablespoon of the ground coffee.
Now drizzle little hot water over the coffee to bloom it. Place the press on top, pour the remaining hot water until it comes till the top. Cover it and allow the decotion to extract.
Once it is done, mix the hot brewed coffee with the condensed milk.
Take a serving glass, fill with ice cubes. Pour the coffee over the ice cubes. mix well and enjoy.
