Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon Ghee + 2 tablespoon
  • ½ cup Wheat Rava / Broken Wheat
  • ¼ cup Sago
  • 1.5 cups Water
  • 1 cup Jaggery grated
  • 2 cups Coconut Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 10 Cashews broken into small pieces

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan. Add in broken wheat and saute for 2 mins or so.
  • Now take this in pressure cooker, add in sago and water. Pressure cook for 2 whistle. Turn off the heat and let the steam go all by itself.
  • Now take this in a pan and add in jaggery. Cook this for 5 to 10 mins till the mixture thickens.
  • Now add in coconut milk and mix well. Simmer for few mins..
  • Now add in cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add in cashews and fry till golden. Pour this into the payasam and mix well.
  • Serve.
