Ingredients
  

For Cooking Cauliflower

  • 1 medium Cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Water as needed

For Marination

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Kashmiri Chilli Powder
  • ¼ cup Bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup Rice Flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Heat water, salt and turmeric in a sauce pan. Bring it to boil. Add cauliflower in it and cook till tender. Strain in a colander and allow it to cool down. Transfer it to a bowl.
  • Take cooked gobi in a bowl, add all ingredients except oil and mix well. You can add a splash of water to bring it together.
  • Heat oil for deep frying. Drop each cauliflower in and fry. Deep fry till golden brown. Strain and serve.

Notes

  • Instead of cauliflower, you can use broccoli too.
  • You can use any of your favorite spices or seasoning to flavour the fried cauliflower.
  • Dried oregano, italian seasoning can be used for flavourings.
  • Breadcrumbs and rice flour adds crispy texture to the cauliflower.
