  • You can make the samosa, fry them immediately or place them in a  container and put them in fridge or freezer.
  • For sealing the samosa and spring rolls, I am using a simple paste made with plain flour and some water. Optionally you can use beaten egg, cornstarch mixed with some water.
  • Instead of frying samosa you can bake or air fry them.

How to Bake Samosa

Once samosa is folded. Place them on an oiled baking tray, brush the top of the samosa with more oil using a pastry brush. Bake samosa in 200 degree C preheated oven for 10 minutes, flip them over and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown. You can brush them top with some ghee before serving.

How to Air Fry Samosa

Once samosa is folded. Place them on an greased air fryer basket. brush the top of the samosa with more oil using a pastry brush. Bake samosa in 180 degree C  for 10 minutes, flip them over and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown. You can brush them top with some ghee before serving.

How to Freeze Samosa

Freezing in ziploc - Once samosa is folded. Place them in a parchment lined baking sheet and put them in freezer for 3 hours. Once it is frozen, you can collect them and place them in a ziploc bag and store in freezer.
Freezing in Freezer safe container - Line a freezer safe container with parchment paper. Place the samosa in a single layer. Place another sheet of parchment on top of the samosa and place another layer of samosa. Repeat this step until the box is full. Store in freezer.
Samosa can be frozen for 2 to 3 months.
