Make deep fried momos. Check the recipe linked to know how to make it. You can use store bought leftover momos or frozen momos too. Deep fry momos until crispy and set aside.
Make sauce - Heat oil in a skillet. Add in garlic and onions in the oil and stir fry until it gets fragrant. Add in chillies and bell peppers and stir fry on high heat for couple of minutes.
Add in all the sauces, salt, sugar, msg if using, water and mix well. Bring it to a full boil. Taste and adjust the seasonings. Mix cornstarch with water to form a slurry. Add this cornstarch slurry into the sauce and mix well. Cook until it thickens.
Make Chilli Garlic Momos - Once it thickens add in the fried momos and toss on high heat. The sauce will coat the momo. Now add in spring onions and mix well. Serve hot.
