This is a lipsmacking delicious momos recipe made with chilli garlic sauce. It taste amazing when served piping hot.
Super delicious and my all time favourite momos recipes. Serve it hot with some spicy chilli chutney and you are in heaven. Taste amazing that you have to try it for sure. Momos is my all time favourite, i make it quite often. Hubby enjoys it more than me. Along with the tomato chilli chutney this momos taste amazing. It has lots of veggies added in them which makes it more tasty and healthy.
This is a Chinese style momos with a chilli garlic sauce. So easy and so delicious.

How to Make Chilli Garlic Momos at Home
Step 1: Frying the momos
Take store bought or homemade momos and deep fry lightly. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Making the sauce
Let's make the sauce. Heat oil and saute garlic and onions for a min. Add in chillies and capsicum and saute for 2 mins. Pour in sauces, salt, sugar and mix well. Add water and bring it to a boil. Pour in in cornflour slurry and mix well. The sauce will thicken. Thats it your chilli garlic sauce is done.
Step 3: Finishing the dish
Add in fried momos in to the sauce and mix well. Garnish with spring onion or cilantro. Serve.

Chilli Garlic Momos | Chilli Garlic Momos Recipe
Ingredients
- 10 Momos (You can use store bought)
- 2 tbsp Oil for deep frying
- 2 tbsp Garlic - 2 tblsp chopped finely
- 1 Onion chopped finely
- 2 Green Chillies chopped finely
- 1 Capsicum | Bell pepper chopped finely
- 2 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce (you can use store bought too)
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Take momos and deep fry lightly. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil and saute garlic and onions for a min.
- Add in chillies and capsicum and saute for 2 mins.
- Add in sauces, salt, sugar and mix well.
- Add water and bring it to a boil.
- Add in cornflour slurry and mix well.
- Add in fried momos and mix well.
- Serve.

1)Make momos as per this method. I made veg momos. You can use store bought leftover momos or frozen momos too. Any dumplings can be used.
2)Deep fry lightly in oil
3)Dont fry too long. Just for few seconds is enough.
1)Heat oil in a pan. Add in onion and garlic
2)Saute for 1 min.

4)Add in capsicum
5)Saute for 2mins.
6)Add in red chilli sauce and soy sauce
7)Mix well
8)Add in sugar and salt.
9)Add little water
10)Bring it to a boil.
11)Add in vinegar
12)Add in cornflour slurry and mix well.
13)Add in fried momos
14)Mix well
15)Serve
16)Enjoy hot.

You list red chili sauce but don't reference what type or brand or anything. I want to make this but don't know what chili sauce to use

I have added links to my homemade chilli sauce in the recipe card. U can use store bought chilli sauce. Any brand would work.
