  • Dosa Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • ½ cup Rice Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Whole Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 medium Onion peeled & finely chopped
  • 1 no Green Chilli finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoon Coriander Leaves finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for making dosa

Instructions
 

  • Mix everything except oil to a thin batter. The batter should not be thick it should be watery in consistency.
  • Now heat a tawa. Pour a ladleful of batter in it and swirl the tawa so that the batter coats evenly and thinly.
  • Drizzle some oil and Cook it for 3-4 mins on one side until the bottom turns little crispy and golden brown. Fold in half and serve.
  • Finish the entire batter like this. Serve it with coconut chutney or sambar.

Notes

  • Make the dosa batter very thin. Thinner the batter the crispy it gets. 
  • Make sure you pour the batter from a height which creates lots of holes in the dosa. 
  • You can add in grated carrots, chopped coriander leaves in the dosa batter. 
  • Use cast iron pan for crispy dosa. I prefer to use gingelly oil for making wheat dosa, you can use regular oil as well.

Serving and Storage

Serve wheat dosa with coconut chutney or tomato chutney. You can enjoy with sambar as well. 
wheat dosa doesn’t stay crispy for long. So it is best to make fresh and enjoy.
