Samosa is one of my all time favourite snack. It is recently i discovered readymade frozen samosa sheets and i am love with it. you just make filling for the samosa and stuff them in this and fry them. So easy..I have already shared few samosa recipes in my blog..

This is the samosa which i made for maha’s birthday and it was so yum..If you cannot find readymade samosa patti, you can make it on your own, refer this post..
Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 1 to 2 min per batch
Makes : 20 samosa

Ingredients:

Samosa Patti – 20
Oil – 1 tblspn
Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf – 2 tsp
Onion – 1 large sliced thinly
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Potatoes – 2 large cooked, peeled and mashed
Peas – 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
Oil for deep frying
All purpose flour / Maida – 1/4 cup
Water – as needed to make paste

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and add in fennel seeds. Add in onions, salt and sugar and cook till it is done.

Add in spice powder and mix well. Add in peas and cook for 1 mins.

Add in cooked mashed potatoes and mix well.

Add in coriander leaves and mix well. Filling done.

Take a sheet of samosa patti, lay it in front of you, spoon some filling in and fold it like a samosa.

When u fold it to the end, apply the paste made with flour and water and fold it to stick it.

Now heat some oil for deep frying, drop in the samosa and fry till golden.

Drain and set aside.
