Vegan Hot Dog Recipe, packed with high protein ingredients like tofu, soya chunks and vegetables that gives perfect texture once cooked and stuffed inside hot dog rolls. The flavor of this hot dog were perfect even meat eater will love it.
Take cooked soya chunks in a blender and make it into a mince. Set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, saute onion and chillies with some salt till it is light golden. Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min. Add in all spices powders and give a toss. Now Add in carrots and capsicum and saute for 2 mins.
Now add in minced soya and mix well. Saute for 4 to 5 mins till the raw smell leaves from soya. Remove this to a bowl and let it cool down. Now crumbled tofu and breadcrumbs. mix well with your hands till it forms a thick mixture.
Now take a portion and roll it into sausage. Do this to the remaining as well. Now place this in fridge for 30 mins.
Now roll the sausages in cornstarch and put it in a pan with very little oil. Fry this on medium heat till it is golden. Remove it and set aside.
Now take your hot dog buns and slit open, place the sausage in and drizzle some ketchup and mustard over it. Top with onions, tomatoes and capsicum. Serve hot.
