Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Egg
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 no Green Chilli peeled & finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Oil

Instructions
 

  • Take onion, green chilli, turmeric, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well. Crack open couple of eggs in that and mix well.
  • Heat a tawa and drizzle in some oil. Once it is hot pour the egg mixture in it and cook on low to medium heat till the top layer sets, It will take around 5 mins. Now flip over and cook for 2 mins.
  • Remove it carefully and serve with rice and rasam.

Notes

    1. For a smooth, fluffy omelette, whisk your eggs well. The more you whisk, the more air you incorporate, leading to a lighter, fluffier texture.
    2. Preheat the pan properly before adding the eggs. It ensures the omelette cooks evenly and prevents sticking.
    3. Use butter for flavor. It gives your omelette a richer, more flavorful taste. Melt a small amount of butter in the pan, but be careful not to let it brown before adding the eggs.
    4. Add fillings after the eggs set. This ensures the omelette holds its shape and the fillings don’t disrupt the cooking process.
    5. If you’re making a thicker omelette or adding fillings, place a lid on the pan for a minute or two. The lid traps heat and helps to cook the top of the omelette.
    6. Use room temperature eggs. Cold eggs can cause uneven cooking, while room temperature eggs cook more evenly and helps to achieve the perfect texture.
