Mexican tacos made with a spiced chicken taco filling topped with fresh ingredients like onions, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. All these are loaded inside crisp shell with salsa, guacamole, sour cream to add so much taste to the tacos. This recipe is an authentic recipe for a simple tacos made with chicken.
Make Chicken Filling - Heat oil in a pan, add in onions, spring onions, green chillies and saute for 1 minute. Now add in garlic paste and cook until raw smell leaves. Pour in tomato puree and cook until raw smell leaves and the mix thickens.
Add in chicken mince and saute with onions for couple of minutes. Now add in taco seasoning, paprika and salt and mix well. Pour in ¼ cup of water and cook everything covered for 10 minutes on low heat.
Now add in lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well. This is your taco filling.
Toast Taco Shell - Take your taco shell, place it open side down on a baking tray. Place this into a 180 degree C oven and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.
Assemble Tacos - Now take a taco shell, spoon in chicken filling, top with cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, coriander leaves. Enjoy with a squeeze of lemon. Serve immediately.
