Even though i am not a big fan of fish, i love to order this at restaurant along with my bowl of soup. It is one of my favorite. I always wanted to try this and post in this blog, but i am not sure why i didn’t do it till now. Ah ya, i got the reason, hubby loves fish a lot, he gets fish atleast twice a week. But the one thing which he ask me to do is this kulambu, he dont want me to try anything else than that. Now you got it, he is the culprit.

But couple days back, when he got me fish, i reserved few pieces to make this fingers. When i gave him this he really liked it and both are happy. Ok with no more stories off you go to the recipe..
Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Serves : 1 to 2

Ingredients:

Fish – 250 grams (Any Fish, Cut into long strips without any bones)
Chilli powder – 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Breadcrumbs – 1/2 cup
Corn flour – 1/2 cup
Oil for Deep frying

Method:

Take fish pieces and cut them like fingers. Now add salt, chilli powder and lemon juice. Marinate it for 10 mins.

Now take cornflour, a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp of chilli powder in a bowl and add water to it. make it into very watery mix. Set aside.

Now take breadcrumbs in another bowl, add a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp of chilli powder and mix well. Set aside.

Now time to breadcrumb the fish. Take marinated fish and dip them in cornflour mix and coat them well in breadcrumb mix. Once it is all coated. set aside.

Now heat oil for frying and fry all the fish fingers till golden on both sides. It will take around 7 to 8 mins.
