Open Faced Sandwich Recipe / Open Faced Cheese Sandwich Recipe

One evening i was feeling so hungry, i want something so immediately. So i raided my fridge and found few bread slices and some vegetables and ofcourse cheese. I throwed all these together and made this yummy open faced sandwich. I also added few spoonful of olives too..

This will give you some idea, you can top this sandwich with any of your favorite topping chicken, egg or anything..Hope you will try this and let me know how it turns out for you..You can check out my other sandwich recipes here..
Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Serves : 2

Ingredients :
Bread Slices – 4
Tomato Ketchup – 3 tblspn
Onion – 1 medium size chopped very finely
Tomato – 1 medium size chopped very finely
Capsicum – 1 chopped finely ( I used green and yellow)
Black Olives – 2 tblspn sliced
Oregano – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Mozarella Cheese – 1/2 cup grated
Oil – for greasing baking dish

Method:

Preheat oven to 220 Degree C.
Mix all the ingredients from tomato ketchup to pepper in a bowl.
Grease a baking tray with oil. Place bread slices over it. Spoon some filling over it. Sprinkle over some cheese.
Bake it for 5 to 10 mins.
Serve immediately.

Take all your ingredients

Take a good dollop of tomato ketchup

Add in onions and tomatoes

Green and Yellow Bell Peppers, you can use red too

add in sliced black olive

Sprinkle over some oregano

Season with some salt and pepper

time to mix

all mixed up

grease a baking tray with some oil

spread it evenly

Place a bread slice over this

spoon some filling 

and some cheese

bake till the cheese is melted

serve
