    Open Faced Sandwich

    One evening i was feeling so hungry, i want something so immediately. So i raided my fridge and found few bread slices and some vegetables and of course cheese. I thrown all these together and made this yummy open faced sandwich. I also added few spoonful of olives too.

    This will give you some idea, you can top this sandwich with any of your favorite topping chicken, egg or anything..Hope you will try this and let me know how it turns out for you..You can check out my other sandwich recipes here.

    Ingredients for Open Faced Sandwich Recipe

    • Bread Slices - 4
    • Tomato Ketchup - 3 tbsp
    • Onion - 1 medium size chopped very finely
    • Tomato - 1 medium size chopped very finely
    • Capsicum - 1 chopped finely ( I used green and yellow)
    • Black Olives - 2 tbsp sliced
    • Oregano - ½ tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Pepper to taste
    • Mozarella Cheese - ½ cup grated
    • Oil - for greasing baking dish

    How to make Open Faced Sandwich Recipe

    1. Preheat oven to 220 Degree C.
    2. Mix all the ingredients from tomato ketchup to pepper in a bowl.
    3. Grease a baking tray with oil. Place bread slices over it. Spoon some filling over it.
    4. Sprinkle over some cheese.
    5. Bake it for 5 to 10 mins.
    6. Serve immediately.

    • 1 medium size chopped very finely Tomato

    Take a good dollop of tomato ketchup

    Add in onions and tomatoes

    Green and Yellow Bell Peppers, you can use red too
