I started cooking just few years back when I was doing my college..I had lots of time on hand and started to look into my passion which was cooking. I wanted to take it seriously, hence I started this food blog..At first this blog stayed as a diary where I just noted down my recipes for future reference..But later I got into it very seriously because of the increase in visitors.

Let me write something about my family. I have two siblings with whom I fight and play.They are my food critic and food testers. I have a beautiful and caring mum who is a complete vegetarian and eats only the vegetarian food that I make. I am Married to my high school sweetheart. He is ready to do anything for me and gives his complete care, affection and protection. Right Now he is my food critic..But he is very serious in giving feedbacks, tells me only the truth.

This is my cute and cozy family who is ready to encourage me when I fall and motivate me to get improved and is waiting for the day when I get to reach the position which I love to become(read below).Apart from this, I have a cute and friendly doggy named Joe, which waits in the door step till I reach home, search for me when I hide somewhere, ask her food by kicking the storage box, runs behind cats and dogs which roam around our house. And this is what I live for.

I am lucky to have lots of true and caring friends, who cares me when I am sick, willing to peak their noses when I have problems, scolds me when I do something wrong, gives lots of suggestions on improving this blog. This is what I live for too..

***Birth of YUMMY TUMMY***

My Passion towards cooking started only three years back. I started cooking when I was doing my college and will take foods to my friends in college as well as at work. Everyone started asking me for the recipes and I was planning to put all my recipes in one place where it can help everyone, Hence Yummy Tummy was born.

***Future Dreams***

I have a dream to start a successful blog, think I made it. My future plan is to start my own restaurant which should serve the best food in town. I even have a plan to write my own cookbook as well as have my own cooking shows. Hope you all keep me in your prayers.

1.What Oven do you use for Baking?

I used Koryo Toaster Oven. It has 19 liter capacity and is perfect for making cakes and all kinds of baked stuffs.

But currently i am having a morphy richards 40 liter OTG oven.

2.Which Camera do you use?

KODAK EASYSHARE M341 is the camera which I use. I even have dream to buy a SLR Camera as well..But now this camera works fine for me.It has 3X optical zoom, 5X continuous digital zoom functions.

My sweetheart got me a Canon SLR Camera. Now i own my dream camera.
 

3.Are you using Earthernware Vessels? Where you get it from? Do you sell it?

Yes I use earthenware vessels a lot. I have a complete addiction towards that..I bought all those from a near by super market called as Lynns. Currently I am not having any plan about selling it, But will think about that in future.

4.Why did you name your blog as YUMMY TUMMY?

Most of my comments towards dishes and recipes will be like “ Oh that’s yummy, yummy yummy, totally yummy, it taste yummy “. So when I was thinking to name my blog suddenly the word Yummy struck my mind. And also food which I cook makes all the tummy happy..So I decided to go with YUMMY TUMMY.

5.Do you reply to comments?

Yes I have a well organized Recipe Index in my blog. I have designed it all by myself. You can browse all your favorite recipes in one place. I have recipes in sections, categories. I even have Thumbnail Images of all recipes over there.
