    About Microwave Chocolate Cake Recipe

To celebrate this day, i am having a special recipe for you all. Many of my viewers has asked me whether we can make cake in microwave or stove top. My answer for that will be yes we can make and i will post that recipe soon. So here is the answer for the first part, microwave cake baking. I have a yummy moist eggless chocolate cake recipe which can be made in microwave. And i will answer the second part, which is stove top baking soon.

This recipe makes a small round cake. If you wanna make a bigger cake, simply double the recipe and use a bigger pan. And you could frost the cake with whatever icing you like. Check out this link for all icing recipes.

    Notes

1)You can adjust the sugar level as you like.
    2) If you want to cover the entire cake, then double the quantity of chocolate for icing.
    3) My oven's maximum temperature is 800 watt. And the cake was done in 4 mins. So keep a eye on your cake.
4)This cake wont rise much, But it will rise a little. So don't over fill the bowl. Fill it halfway through.
5)You could use melted butter for oil.
6)Grease the bowl well, so the cake doesn't stick to the pan.
7)Allow the cake to cool completely before inverting.
8)Use little sour curd, that will react with baking soda and make the cake spongy.

      The cake just looks delicious.
I would like to know what is the consistency of the curd? and will it be the same if it is not much sour?
Also, will margarine work instead of butter? Thanks, can't wait to make it!

Hi Aarthi.. I love your blog. I tried many of your recipes. Today I tried your microwave chocolate cake it was okay on sides but it's too hard in the middle and got completely dry. I followed your instructions as it is. But I couldn't figure out where I went wrong. Can you help me with that. I wanna try this cake again.

@Divyaoi think u have over baked it..Each oven varies, next time reduce the cooking time. And dont over mix the batter, if you over mix, it will turn hard

@Saloni Kocharyes u can make it as a big cake, just triple the batter or increase it as per your pan size and increase the time as well.

      Hi Aarthi,

First of all, I'd like to thank you so much for this recipe. Seriously the best eggless chocolate cake ever and so many compliments.

I don't have a microwave oven so I tried this in a bundt pan in both OTG (15-20 mins at 180 C) and Pressure Cooker (30-40 mins). Both of them were a success. The cake turned out soft and spongy.

This was a really easy recipe and very easy to assemble.

Thanks a lot and looking forward to try out more of your cake recipes.
