    About this Recipe

Oatmeal is a porridge that is made from milled, steel-cut, or rolled oat grains. Oats, an ancient cereal grain, come in a variety of forms, from rolled oats to instant oatmeal to whole oat groats, but they all begin as oat plant seeds.

It are also known ‘Jaie’ in India. Oats are widely grown in Haryana and Punjab in India; these grains require paddy fields to grow. Furthermore, these plants are typically grown using an organic cultivation method.

The flavours and ingredients you add in this totally depends upon you, you can add whatever you like. I have plans to make many more flavours in the future so stay tuned.

    Rolled Oats or Any Oats

Steel-cut ‘ chewy texture and nutty flavour may be delicious to some but too filling for others. Some people prefer rolled and quick oats to steel-cut oats because they have a milder flavour and cook down to a creamy, smooth consistency.

What is the difference between oatmeal and overnight oats?

Overnight oats are a quick and easy way to make oatmeal that doesn't require any cooking. Rather than boiling oats, overnight oats are mixed with milk or a dairy-free alternative and refrigerated overnight to allow the oats to hydrate.

Ingredients for Chocolate Overnight Oatmeal Recipe :

    Rolled Oatmeal :
Oatmeal has a bland flavour with some earthy undertones. Because it absorbs so much water during the cooking process, oatmeal is one of those foods that absorbs the flavour of whatever it is cooked with or mixed with.

    Cocoa Powder :
Cocoa powder is primarily used as a flavouring agent in baked goods such as cookies, ice cream, dairy drinks, and cakes. Aside from flavouring, it is also used in the production of coatings for confectioners or frozen desserts. Cocoa powder is also used in the beverage industry, for example, to make chocolate milk.

    Soy Milk :

Soy milk has a mild and creamy flavour that varies depending on the brand. It is typically sweeter than other milk substitutes. This is probably your best option if you want dairy-free milk that tastes like milk.

Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.
