    Crispy Kozhukattai Recipe - Using Leftover Kozhukattai with step wise pictures.

    Delicious crispy kozhukattai recipe which has lots of flavour. This recipe is a great way to use leftover kozhukattai. Taste great with a cup of tea.

    This is a great way to use up leftover kozhukattai. You can use any kara kozhukattai in this recipe. After ganesh chathurthi we will be left with lots of kozhukattai. These can be used next day in this recipe. It will taste so yummy.

    Ingredients
      

    • Leftover Kara Kozhukattai - 12 to 15
    • Oil - 1 tblsp
    • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
    • Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu - 1 tsp
    • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi a pinch
    • Cumin Seeds - 1.5 tsp
    • Black Pepper - 1.5 tsp

    Instructions
     

    • Dry Roast cumin and pepper till toasted. Powder coarsely. Set aside.
    • Heat oil in a pan. Crackle mustard, urad dal and asafoetida.
    • Add in cubed kozhukattai and cook till crispy.
    • Add salt to taste.
    • Add roasted pepper and cumin powder and mix well.
    • Serve hot.

    1) Dry roast cumin and pepper till golden. Grind coarsely.

    2)Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and urad dal and let it sizzle.

    3)Add in asafoetida

    4)Let it sizzle.

    5)Add cubed kozhukattai

    6)Toss well

    7)Cook till golden brown.

    8)Add in the roasted powder.

    9)Mix well.

    10)Serve
