Easy Tawa Chicken Recipe / Spicy Tava Chicken Fry Recipe

Ever since i made a batch of pav bhaji masala, i have been looking for recipe to use them up. I thought of making a quick chicken dish using that and i made this. It was simply delicious, spicy, tangy and everything you want a chicken to be..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 25 to 35 mins
Serves : 3 to 4

Ingredients:

For Chicken:
Chicken – 250 grams Boneless, chopped into small pieces
Rice Flour / Arisi Mavu – 1.5 tblspn
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1.5 tblspn
Cornflour / Cornstarch – 1.5 tblspn
Chilli Garlic Paste – 1 tblsp (Recipe here)
Salt to taste
Oil for Deepfrying

For Masala:
Oil – 1 tblspn
Chilli Garlic Paste – 1 to 2 tblspn (Recipe here)
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1 tsp
Pav Bhaji Masala Powder – 1 tblspn or to taste (Recipe here)
Onions – 1 medium size sliced thinly
Capsicum / Bell Peppers – 1/2 sliced thinly
Tomatoes – 1 sliced thinly
Coriander Leaves a handful finely chopped
Method:
Take all the ingredient given in the chicken list, except oil and mix well, add little water as needed.
Drop it in hot oil and fry till golden and cooked. Drain onto some paper towel. Set aside.
Heat 1 tblspn oil in a kadai, add in chilli garlic paste and saute for a min or so.

Add in salt and sugar. Add in pav bhaji masala and mix well.
Add in fried chicken and toss well, add in onions, capsicum and tomatoes. Toss on high heat for 3 to 5 mins.
Add in coriander leaves and serve.

Pictorial:
You need some chopped boneless chicken, take them in a bowl

add in rice flour

add in all purpose flour

add in some cornflour

now add in some chilli garlic paste..Recipe here

season with salt salt

mix well..

drop it in hot oil

fry till golden

drain them

drain onto some paper towel

heat some oil in a pan

Add in some more chilli garlic paste, Recipe here

saute for a min 

add in little salt and sugar

add in pav bhaji masala powder,,,Recipe here

mix well

add in fried chicken

toss well

add in onions, capsicum and tomatoes

toss well

toss on high heat for 2 to 3 mins

now it is done

add in some chopped coriander leaves
