    Notes

    1. The total water content should be 1:2. For 1 cup rice you need 2 cups water. You can reduce the water to 1.5 cup too.
    2. You can make it with chicken instead of mutton. For chicken you dont have to pressure cook. Just add it in the pot and cook for 15 mins and then add water and rice.
    3. This rice is not like biryani, it has so much flavour and the rice is little soft than biryani.
    4. This can be served with raita and papad.

    • You can make it with chicken instead of mutton. For chicken you don't have to pressure cook. Just add it in the pot and cook for 15 mins and then add water and rice.
    • Taste the water before adding rice and adjust salt, chilli powder. The water has to be little salty so the rice will be flavourful.
