Whole wheat beetroot cake in a blender is fast and easy to make. This cake gives perfect texture and turns out super soft. I used wheat flour to make this cake. This cake made using wheat flour taste so amazing and is fast to make as well.

Blender Cakes are not new trend setter. You add everything to a blender and puree till smooth. Then you fold the dry ingredients, then you pour the whole thing into a baking pan and bake till done. It is super easy.

Things you can add in the cake batter.

1)Dried Fruits or Nuts

2)Coconut

3)Chopped dates

4)Chocolate Chips of your choice

For Eggless Whole Wheat Beetroot Cake: 

Egg Replacement for Cakes: 

1)For each egg replace it will 1 flax egg.  For one flax egg: mix 1 tblsp of flax seed powder with 3 tblsp of water.

2)You can try adding 1/2 cup of yogurt instead of eggs.

3)You can add 1 mashed banana instead of eggs.

Ingredients

  • Eggs - 2
  • Beetroot - 1 peeled and chopped
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup 150 grams
  • Wheat Flour - 1 1/2 cup 180 grams
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence -1 tsp
  • Oil - 1/2 cup 120 ml
  • Cocoa Powder - 1/4 cup 25 grams
  • Chocolate chips as needed
  • MY 1 CUP MEASURES 240 ML

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
  • LIne a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Take all ingredients except wheat flour and baking soda in a blender and puree till smooth.
  • Add wheat flour, baking soda and mix gently.
  • Add choco chips and mix.
  • Pour into baking pan and Top with more chocolate chips if needed.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 mins.
  • Remove and cool completely.
  • Slice and serve.

Notes

1)Grind all the ingredients except wheat flour and baking soda in a blender. Dont grind once wheat flour is added else it will make the cake dense.
2)You can try adding flax egg instead of regular eggs. Mix 1 tblsp of flax seed powder with 3 tblsp of water. This is equal to 1 egg.
3)You can add any chopped nuts or dried fruits in this too.

    Hi , I tried your recipe and I had a problem with the aftertaste of oil. Can I use melted butter instead ? Other than that I found it really quick and easy.
