    Lentil Curry Recipe

This is a healthy dish that contains lots of veggies packed in it.I would say that it is a protein packed recipe which taste so good. Actually you can add any of your favorite vegetables in this. I made this according to the stuffs which was available in my fridge on that day.

This taste good with plain rice and any poriyal. I actually had some soya chunks cutlet along with this and it was totally yummy. I hope you like it.

How to Make Lentil Curry Recipe

    • Soak toor dal for 30 mins..Drain it and add it to a pot. Cover it with water and add turmeric to it. Bring this to a boil and cook for 20 mins until cooked.
    • Now heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard, urad dal, sesame seeds , cumin, onions, curry leaves , green chillies and mix well.
    • Add in tomatoes, beans, okra, brinjal and mix well..Fry this for 5 mins.
    • Now add the to the cooked dal and mix well.
Add tamarind, salt and sugar and mix well. Bring this to a boil and simmer for 10 mins.
    • Serve hot with rice.
