I want to share one of the proudest moment of mine. Couple days back i got a order for 500 pieces of vanilla paper cakes and 500 pieces of homemade chocolate from a client for a wedding. That too without any advance notice. At first i was quite scared to take the order because of time constrain. But finally decided to take it as a challenge. Immediately got into action. In a total of 6 hours we completed the complete order. It was one of my proudest moment i can say. I have posted pics of it in my facebook page, check it out..

And now back to todays recipe..Oh Ya..Do you think making icecream is hard and time consuming, because you have to start by making a custard. Then you have to try my rosemilk icecream first. It is one of my favorite no churn icecream and that is the one which inspired me to make this mango flavoured one..You can check out my strawberry icecream and vanilla icecream..You can also check my other icecream and granita recipes too..
This recipe has become one of my latest favorite, i have been eating this icecream even i am typing this post..Just three ingredients, whipped together, pour into container, freeze it, ta da you have some lovely scoops of icecream..Great for parties too..
Along with this recipe, i have made a batch of mango froyo too, will post that in the coming week, look for it..

Preparation Time : 15 mins
Freezing time : 6 to 8 hours or overnight
Serves : 5 to 6

Ingredients:(Use same cup to measure all stuffs)
Sweet Ripe Mango Puree – 2 cups
Condensed Milk – 1 cup
Fresh Cream / Whipping Cream – 1 cup / 240 ml

Method:
Take mango puree in a bowl and add in condensed milk to it and mix well.
Take whipping cream in a bowl and whip it till it is thick and creamy.
Now add in the mango mix and whip again till it is mixed.
Now pour this into freezer safe container and freezer for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
Scoop and serve.

Notes:
1)For easy scooping, dip the scooper in hot water and then scoop the frozen mango yogurt.
2)Use sweet, ripe and orange coloured mangoes, this will give you good colour.
Pictorial:
Take your three ingredients
Start by washing some ripe sweet mangoes
peel em
cube em
add it to a blender
puree them
take it in a jug and measure 2 cups
add condensed milk
mix well
take whipping cream in a bowl
use a beater to beat it up
beat till it gets thick
like this
add mango mix
beat again
till it is nice and thick
like this
transfer to a freezer safe container
cover with a lid
freeze it
once frozen,scoop and serve
i like to start with 3 scoops of this goodness
okay i want to show your this glass
which i got from my recent trip to chennai
enjoy..

I made ice cream from this recipe using ready made alfangoe mango pulp. Every time it turned out a topper. I used an old trick i.e. after 3-4 hours I took it out of freezer & whipped it again. I want to know can this recipe be tried on other fresh fruits also, if so do we have to make a few changes? By fresh fruits I mean pine apple. Chikoo. custard apple grapes & black grapes. Please guide. Thanks.
