Oreo Pudding Recipe

This is a recipe which i came up few days back when i wanted to make a desert recipe using a pack of oreo which i had on hand. Ofcourse i can eat it on its own, but i wanted to make something with it.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Setting Time : 3 to 4 hours
Serves: 2 to 4


Ingredients:

Oreo Cookies – 10
Unsalted Butter – 4 tblspn
Paneer – 1/2 cup crumbled
Sweetened Condensed Milk – 1/2 cup or to taste
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
Gelatin – 3/4 tsp
Water – 3 tblspn


Method:

Line a ramekin with cling wrap and set aside.

Take oreo cookies in a blender and pulse few times to it is crumbled.

Take butter in a sauce pan, melt it gently. Add 3/4 of the cookie crumbs and mix well. Now press the cookie mix in the base of the ramekin. Chill the ramekin till needed.

Now take paneer, condensed milk and vanilla in a blender and puree till smooth. set aside.

Now take gelatin in a sauce pan, add water to it and set aside for 5 to 10 mins. Now heat gently till the gelatin is melted.

Now add the pureed mix into the gelatin and mix well.

Add some of the cookie crumb in to the filling and mix well. reserve some cookie crumb for topping.

Spoon this over the chilled cookie layer and put in fridge to set for 3 to 4 hours.

Now unmould and sprinkle the top with more crumbs and serve.

remove some of the crumbs and set aside

i used a small ramekin to set this, first line it with cling wrap
spoon the mix in, chill this till you make the filling
now lets make the filling, take crumbled paneer
add in condensed milk
add vanilla
blend till creamy
now take gelatin in a sauce pan
add water
soak for 10 mins
melt it gently till the gelatin is completely melted
add the pureed mix
mix well
add the cookie crumb in
mix well
filling done
remove the ramekin from fridge
pour it in
chill it 
now it is set
unmould and top with more cookie crumbs
serve

    Can I substitute China grass for Gelatin? What will be the measurement? Ashwini

      yes u can use china grass. use around 3 to 4 grams

      If u are using agar agar powder use 1.5 tsp
