I had a packet of coloured dried coconut on my pantry shelf for a while. I was thinking about this recipe for the past few days and finally made it couple weeks back. It was a total success and everyone went crazy for this. It almost tasted more delicious than a bounty bar.

I used coloured dried coconut, you can use regular dried coconut.

Serves: 4 to 6
Ingredients:
Oreo Biscuits – 12 to 15
Unsalted Butter – 75 gramsĀ + 25 grams
Dried Shredded Coconut – 21/2 cups
Sweetened Condensed Milk – 3/4 cup
Dark Chocolate Chips – 1 cup
Method:
Take oreo cookies in a blender and powder them.
Take 75 grams of butter in a sauce pan, melt it down. Add the powdered biscuit and mix well.
Pour this in a pan which is lined with parchment paper and press it down. Chill this in fridge till needed.
Now make the coconut filling, take coconut and condensed milk in a sauce pan and cook that on low heat till it heats up. Now spoon this over the biscuit base and chill in fridge till needed.
Now take chocolate and 25 grams of butter in a sauce pan and melt gently till the chocolate is melted.
Now pour this over the coconut and chill in fridge till set about 2 to 4 hours.
Now cut into squares and serve.
