Brownies are a favorite dessert for all ages, and these white chocolate brownies are a delicious twist on the classic brownies. Instead of cocoa, this recipe uses melted white chocolate to create a rich, buttery flavour with a soft, and fudgy texture. Enjoy them warm on their own or serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.

    About White Chocolate Brownies

Those who know me well know that brownies are my absolute favorite. They have always been my go-to dessert and I can never say no to a perfectly fudgy brownie.

While dark chocolate brownies will always have a special place in my heart, this white chocolate brownie is a delicious new addition to my brownie recipes.

This white chocolate brownie is made with simple ingredients like unsalted butter, white chocolate, all purpose flour, baking powder and eggs. While the addition of semi chocolate chips adds extra bursts of chocolate in every bite, which makes the brownie irresistible.

I love how white chocolate brings a creamy, buttery sweetness and a rich flavour that is completely different from dark chocolate. These white chocolate brownies are soft, fudgy and perfectly sweet without being overly sugary.

    Ingredients

    • Unsalted butter : Use Unsalted butter for making the brownies, so you can control the amount of salt that goes into it.
    • White chocolate : White chocolate is the main ingredient and uses good quality white chocolate.
    • Eggs : Eggs is what makes the brownie set, it also helps achieve the crinkly texture.
    • Sugar : I used granulated sugar. Brown sugar can be used as well.
    • Vanilla Extract : I used my homemade Vanilla extract. You can use good quality vanilla for the best taste.
    • All purpose flour : All purpose flour (plain flour) is used in the brownie batter. WHole wheat flour can be used but it may alter the texture slightly.
    • Baking powder : Baking powder gives a slight lift to the brownies.
    • Salt : A pinch of salt balances the sweetness and enhances the overall flavour of the brownie.
    • Semi chocolate chips : Semi chocolate chips is optional but highly recommend it.

1)Preheat oven to 180 degree C (360 degree F) . Line a 20 cm square baking pan with parchment paper and butter it really well. Set aside.

4)Mix till the chocolate is melted. If it doesn't melt, place on low heat and melt. Set aside till it cools.

7)This is your dry ingredients. Set aside.

    Whipping Eggs

8)Now take a mixing bowl. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla in the bowl and use an electric beater to whip this till fluffy and pale.

    9) it will take around 3 to 5 minutes. This is the texture you are looking for.

    Make Brownie Batter

10)Now pour in the cooled white chocolate and butter mixture.

11)Mix it again for 1 minute.

12)Now add in the sieved flour mixture and fold gently using a spatula.

    13)Now the batter is made.

14)Finally add in the semi sweet chocolate chips and fold gently.

    15)Chocolate chips is optional.

    Baking white chocolate brownies

16)Pour this into the baking pan and spread evenly.

15)Bake for 25 to 30 mins until the toothpick inserted comes clean.

16)Remove it from oven and let it cool completely.

17)Remove the brownies from the pan and Cut into bars and serve.

18)Enjoy with a cup of milk.

    Expert Tips

    • Melt the butter and white chocolate gently and let the mixture slightly cool before adding the eggs.
    • Whisk the eggs and sugar well to create a shiny, crinkle top brownie.
    • Don't over-mix the batter after adding flour, as it can make the brownies dense.
    • Fold in the chocolate chips at the end so they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
    • Check the brownies a few minutes before the suggested baking time. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out with a few moist crumbs.
    • Let the brownies cool completely before slicing. This helps them set properly and give neat, clean slices.

    Storage and Serving

Store the brownies in an airtight container. It stays good at room temperature for 3 to 4 days. For longer storage, you can refrigerate them for a week.

These white chocolate brownies can be enjoyed on their own. For extra indulgence, pair them with vanilla ice cream, melted white or dark chocolate.

    FAQ

    Q. Can I add nuts to the brownie ?

Yes, you can add chopped walnuts, pecans, almonds or cashew nut to the batter for a crunchy texture and flavour.

    Q. Why are my white chocolate brownies dry ?

This happens when the brownies are overbaked. Remove them from the oven when the center is set.

    Q. How do I know when the brownies are done ?

Insert a tooth pick in the center, it should come out with a few moist crumbs, not like a wet batter.
