Black Pepper Fish Fry Recipe – Milagu Kariveppilai Meen Varuval Recipe

I love the combo of black pepper and curry leaves. I wanted to try this combo and create a marination for fish. ..Finally i tried it few days back and it turned out perfect..This  is so easy to make, you just few ingredient to put together and finally you get a plate of tasty fried fish….The main flavouring for this is black pepper,So dont skip to add those..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Marinating Time : 30 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Fish – 500 grams
Black Pepper – 2 tblspn
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Ginger – 2 tblspn
Garlic – 2 tblspn
Lemon Juice – 3 tblspn
Curry leaves a big handful
Coriander leaves a big handful
Water as needed
Rice flour or Cornflour – 2 tblspn
Coconut Oil as needed for pan frying

Method:

Take all the ingredients except rice flour and oil in a blender and make it into a smooth thick puree.

Take it in a bowl, add in rice flour and mix well.

Add in fish and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 30 mins.

Now heat coconut oil in a tawa, Place fish in it and fry till golden on both side…Finally sprinkle with curry leaves and fry.

Serve with rice

Take the marinating ingredients in a blender
add little water and make it into a smooth paste
add in black pepper
chilli powder and salt
lemon juice
mix well
add little rice flour for binding
mix well
add fish in
mix well and leave to marinate for 15 to 30 mins
Heat coconut oil in a tawa..place fish on it
fry for few mins
flip over and cook
add more oil as needed
sprinkle some curry leaves
serve
