How to Make Mirror Glaze at Home

Soak gelatin in 3 tblsp water for 10 mins.

Mix cocoa powder, sugar in a sauce pan.

Add in cream and water and mix well.

Bring it to a boil. Keep mixing..

Now add in gelatin mixture and whisk well till combined.

Bring it to a boil once.

Take it off the heat and strain the mixture.

Place a plastic wrap so that it touches the glaze. This prevents a skin forming on top of the glaze.

Place the glaze in fridge for 30 minutes to cool down.

Use the cooled glaze on cakes.
Notes
- You can store the glaze in fridge for up to a month in a air tight container.
- Warm the glaze in microwave for few seconds to get the right consistency.
- You can use this glaze in cakes, mousse domes, cupcakes or on any dessert.

Chocolate Mirror Glaze Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 ¼ cup Sugar
- ½ cup Cream
- ½ cup Water
- 1.5 tsp Gelatin
Instructions

15) Once it cools it is ready to use.

Dear Aarti,
Baked the cake with the frosting and glaze for my son's 18th birthday.
Followed the recipie to a T .....turned out super....everyone loved it ....and my friends mistook it for a cake ordered from a bakery .
