Chewy Chocolate Oats Bar
Hai friends..Hope everyone is enjoying a great weekend..Today I made Chocolate peanut butter bars and it came so perfect and delicious..I will post the recipe tomorrow..Today’s recipe is gonna be Chocolate Oats Bar..I made this last weekend and it was really chewy and perfect. This is a healthy kind of Granola Bars..It is low fat too, since no butter is used. The cool thing is,it has no eggs in it..So my vegetarian friends can enjoy this too..This is pretty simple and quick to make..I have to tell you one thing,I made this bar little bit thicker,so it took a lot of time to cook…I advise you to make it thinner in a big tray..
Ingrediants:
Instant Oats- 250 gms (I used Quaker)
Flour-150 gms
Oil- 75 ml
Sugar- 200 gms
Desiccated coconut-50 gms
Almonds-1 tblspn
Raisans-1 tblspn
Baking powder-1 tsp
Peanut butter-2 tblspn
Cocoa Powder- 1/3 cup / 30 gms
Milk-2 tblspn
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180  degree C.
Mix flour with baking powder and mix well.Set this aside.
In a mixing bowl add oil and sugar and mix well.
Add in peanut butter, cocoa powder, coconut, almonds, cashews, raisans and mix well.
Add in milk, oats, flour mixture and mix well.
Tip this mixture in a well oiled baking tin in a thin layer and bake for 25-30 min.
Let this cool completely..Then cut into bars and serve.
Pictorial:
Grab your ingrediants
beat sugar with oil..
Add peanut butter
in with cocoa
Add in almonds and raisans
throw in desiccated coconut
add in flour and baking powder mixture
Add in oats and mix well
all combined
tip this in a oiled tin
baked to perfection
cut into bars and serve

Hey. At what temperature do u bake it at? And does the texture and consistency change if peanut butter isn't used and is there a substitute?

If it’s microwave convection mode. Then do we need to set the same temperature as in preheat at 180 degrees for 10 mins and then bake for 25 to 30 mins…

Pls correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks in advance. Your recipes are very interesting.
