    Ingredients
      

    • Chepankilangu Leaves / Arbi Leaves -4

    FOR BATTER:

    • Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu - 1 ½ cup
    • Red Chilli Powder - 1 tblsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
    • Jaggery / Gur - 3 tblsp
    • Tamarind Pulp - 3 tblsp
    • Ginger Paste - 1 tblsp
    • Oil - 1 tblsp
    • Water as needed

    FOR SEASONING:

    • Oil - 2 tblsp
    • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
    • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - ½ tsp
    • Sesame Seeds / Ellu / Til - 2 tblsp
    • Curry Leaves - 1 sprig

    Instructions
     

    • Mix all ingredients to a smooth thick batter.
    • Take arbi leaves and remove the thick stalk.
    • Take each leaf spread batter on top place another leaf and repeat the same.
    • Roll it tight.
    • Steam it for 30 mins.
    • Cool it and cut into pieces.
    • Now heat oil in a pan, add in mustard, cumin and sesame seeds and let it sizzle.
    • Add the sliced arbi roll and cook till light golden.
    • Serve hot.
