    Kara Chapati Recipe - Spicy Paratha Recipe with step wise pictures.

    Delicious and spicy chapati which can be had as it is or with some curd and pickle. This makes a great recipe to put in your kids lunch box too.

    One of my north indian neighbour taught my mom this recipe and she told me this. The chapati made this way is so flavourful and so tasty. You dont need any sidedish for this, just have it with some pickle or curd and it is good enough.

    Ingredients
      

    • Wheat flour - 2 cups
    • Salt - to taste
    • Water as needed
    • Ghee as needed
    • Chilli Powder as needed
    • Cumin Seeds as needed

    Instructions
     

    • Take flour, salt in a bowl and mix well. Add water and knead to a soft dough. Divide the dough into equal balls.
    • Take a dough, spread it lightly. Add a spoonful of ghee, salt, chilli powder and cumin seeds. Spread evenly.
    • Fold it like a square and roll it out
    • Cook on a hot pan till golden on both sides. Use ghee for frying.
    • Serve hot with curd and pickle.

    1)Take wheat flour in a bowl.

    2)Add salt

    3)Mix well

    4)Add in water

    5)Knead to a soft dough

    6)Divide it into equal balls.

    7)Take a ball

    8)Spread evenly.

    9)Take some pure ghee

    10)Add a dollop of it.

    11)Add some chilli powder

    12)Add some salt

    13)Add some cumin seeds

    14)Spread evenly

    15)Sprinkle some flour on top

    16)Fold it from both sides

    17)Fold like a square

    18)Roll it gently

    19)Like this

    20)Put it on a hot pan.

    21)Flip over and cook

    22)Apply ghee and cook

    23)Cook till golden on both sides

    24)Remove and serve.
