Lemon Sevai Recipe – Easy Breakfast Recipes

This is a quick and easy breakfast recipe which you can make in just few mins. If you have some leftover idiyappam or sevai, you can turn them into this lemon sevai within minutes. I will soon share other flavoured sevai which i make.

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 5 mins
Serves: 2


Ingredients:

Oil – 1 tblspn
Mustard Seeds / Kaduku – 1/2 tsp
Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu – 1 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi – a pinch
Dry Red Chillies – 2 broken into small pieces
Curry leaves a sprig
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice – 2 tblspn or to taste
Salt to taste
Cooked Idiyappam – 2 cups (Recipe here or here)

Method:

Heat oil in a pan, add all the ingredients given till turmeric powder and let them sizzle.

Add in lemon juice and salt and mix well.

Add in cooked idiyappam and mix well.

Serve.

add cooked cooled idiyappam
toss well
