Cherry Cupcakes Recipe – Eggless Whole Wheat Cherry Cupcakes Recipe

I want to tell you guys a good news, You know that i pretty much share two to three post every single day and i never ever miss to post on my blog. But for the past few weeks i am not that active on my blog. You must be wondering why is it so, and many of you have send me mails and messages asking what is the matter. So i decided to share the news. I am pregnant with my second baby, i am on the end of my first trimester and things is getting really hard for me. I am having nausea and feeling very very tired, Not able to cook anything and eat anything. Thats is the reason behind me not active on blog. But i hope things will get back to normal soon. 

This is one muffin or cupcake which i made few days back for my little one and she loved it so much. It is made using wheat flour and jaggery so it is pretty healthy too.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 20 to 25 mins
Serves – 8

Ingredients:

Whole Wheat Flour / Atta – 1 1/2 cup / 180 grams
Jaggery / Brown Sugar – 1 cup / 200 grams
Baking Soda – 1 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Milk – 1 cup / 250 ml
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
Butter – 1/4 cup melted / 50 grams 
Cherry – 1/4 cup chopped

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a muffin tray with wrappers.

Take all the ingredients given in the list except cherry in a mixing bowl and mix till smooth.

Add in cherry and fold gently.

Now use a icecream scoop to scoop the batter on the muffin tray. Bake for 20 mins.

Remove it carefully and cool it down completely.

Now serve.

Pictorial:

take all your ingredients 
take your cherries

chop it finely

take wheat flour in a bowl

add in baking soda

mix well

add in brown sugar or jaggery

add milk

add melted butter

add vanilla

mix well

add in cherries

fold gently

scoop it into the moulds

top with more cherries and bake

Serve

    Great work aarthi.. generally maida is not good for health. so i am not interested to give cakes to my son. u made this by wheat flour.. its not harmful.. expecting more.. thanks a lot..
