    Oats Halwa Recipe - Oats Milk Halwa Recipe - Easy Diwali Sweets with step wise pictures.

    This delicious oats halwa is not only easy to make but taste delicious too. It is perfect to make for diwali or any special occasions.

    Delicious oats halwa which taste so delicious and yummy. This makes a great prasad for any festival. This easy halwa not only taste amazing but is easy to make. You just need oats, milk, ghee and sugar.

    Ingredients

    • Ghee - ¼ cup
    • Instant oats - ½ cup
    • Milk - ½ cup
    • Sugar - ½ cup
    • Cashews - 2 tblsp
    • Cardamom Powder - ½ tsp

    Instructions

    • Dry roast oats for 4 to 5 mins till it smells toasty. Take it in a blender and powder fine.
    • Take 2 tblsp of ghee in a pan, add in cashews and fry till golden. Set aside.
    • Add in oats powder and stir for 2 mins.
    • Now add in milk and keep cooking and stiring till it thickens.,
    • Add sugar and mix well. Once it starts to thicken, add in ghee little by little and mix well.
    • Cook till halwa leaves the sides of the pan.
    • Add cardamom powder and fried nuts. Mix well.
    • Serve

    Pictorial:

    1)Take oatmeal in a dry pan. Roast till golden.

    2)Roast on low heat till toasty.

    3)Now it is golden

    4)Take it in a blender

    5)Powder till coarse

    6)Heat ghee in a pan

    6)Add in cashews

    7)Cook till cashews are golden. Drain and set aside.

    8)Add in oats powder.

    9)Stir for 2 mins.

    10)Now it is well toasted

    11)Add in milk.

    12)Add in milk

    13)MIx well.

    14)Cook till thickens

    15)Add in sugar

    16)Mix well.

    17)Cook till thickens

    18)Add in ghee

    19)Mix well.

    20)Add in more ghee

    21)Mix well. Cook till ghee leaves the sides of the pan.

    22)Add in cardamom powder.

    23)Add in fried nuts

    24)Mix well.

    25)Serve
