    Spicy Veg Mayonnaise Sandwich Recipe with step by step pictures. This recipe is a light, crunchy and delicious sandwich made with a lightly seasoned filling of vegetables mixed with mayonnaise.

    Spicy Veg Mayonnaise Sandwich

    This is the spicy sandwich which i made for maha birthday party and it was so delicious. The veggies are cooked in a indian way with spice powders and then a dollop of mayo is added to it to give a creamy texture to it and worked well. It tasted so delicious as well..

    Ingredients for Spicy Veg Mayonnaise Sandwich

    • Bread Slices - 12
    • Oil - 1 tbsp
    • Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1 tsp
    • Onions - 1 large sliced thinly
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar - 1 tsp
    • Cabbage - 2 cups sliced thinly
    • Carrots - 1 large grated
    • Capsicum - ½ sliced thinly
    • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
    • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
    • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - ½ tsp
    • Mayonnaise - ½ cup

    How to Make Spicy Veg Mayonnaise Sandwich

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add in fennel seeds and let them sizzle.
    2. Add in onions, salt and sugar and saute till it gets golden.
    3. Now add in cabbage, carrots and capsicum and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat till it is cooked.
    4. Now add in spice powders and mix well.
    5. Remove it to a bowl and let it cool down.
    6. Once it is cooled, add in mayo and mix well.
    7. Take bread slices and spread this over it evenly. Cover with another slice and cut diagonally.
    8. Serve.

    Spicy Veg Mayonnaise Sandwich Recipe Step by Step

    Take all your ingredients
     
     
    I forgot to add this in beginning so you see the veggies in the pot....so first start by heating oil and crackling some fennel seeds
     
     
    add in onions
     
     
    add in salt and sugar
     
     
    cook till it is done
     
     
    add in carrots, cabbage and capsicum
     
     
    mix well
     
     
    let them cook till raw smell leaves from the mix
     
     
    cover and simmer
     
     
    now the veggies are done
     
     
    add in chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder
     
     
    mix well

     

     
    remove this to a bowl, and let it cool down
     
     
    add mayonnaise
     
     
    mix well
     
     
    take your bread slices
     
     
    dollop a good amount of the mix in
     
     
    spread evenly
     
     
    cover with another slice
     
     
    cut in diagnols
     
     
    you can cut into triangles as well

      @Unknownit taste good toasted or not toasted as well. if your bread is soft no need to toast..if it is little hard, toast it with butter
