    Stir-Fried Cabbage and Capsicum Recipe

    Stir fries make a great sidedish for rice or roti. I make different combination of them very often. This one is a quick sidedish you can make in under 30 mins. It uses a combination of cabbage and capsicum and finally the whole thing is tossed with some chilli flakes.

    Preparation Time : 5 mins
    Cooking Time : 15 mins
    Serves: 4


    Ingredients:

    Cabbage - 2 cups chopped finely
    Capsicum - 1 chopped finely
    Oil - 1 tblspn
    Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
    Urad dal - 1 tsp
    Salt to taste
    Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
    Red Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp

    Method:

    Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard seeds and urad dal. Let them sizzle.

    Add in cabbage, salt and turmeric powder and saute for few mins. Cook it for 5 mins or so.

    Add in capsicum and toss well. Cook it for few more mins.

    Add in chilli flakes and toss well.

    Serve.
