Are you looking for a proper fish curry, then this is it. This recipe is given from my mother. she is a pure vegetarian, but she knows to cook fish. She told me to try this fish curry and i did it too..It came out so good..I hope you will try it soon..
Fish Pieces – 1/2 kg (Any White Fleshed Fish will do)
Tamarind Pulp – 2 tblspn
Coconut Oil- 2 tblspn
Curry leaves a spring
Salt to taste
Coconut – 1 cup
Dry Red Chilli – 5
Shallots / Sambar Onion – 5
Coriander Powder / Malli Podi – 1 tblspn
Cumin Powder / Jeeraka Podi – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1 tsp
Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Take all the ingrediants given for the masala in a blender and make into a fine puree.
Add that to a kadai and pour required amount of water.
Add in tamarind and salt and mix well.
Bring this to a boil.
Add in the fish pieces and cook for 10 mins or untill the fish is done.
Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add curry leaves to it and fry them for 30 seconds.
Pour this over the curry and mix well.

|Ingrediants for grinding|
|take everything in a blender|
|and make into a fine puree|
|Transfer that to a large kadai|
|add fish in|
|and bring everything to a boil and cook|
|Heat oil in a kadai and splatter some curry leaves|
|pour that in|
|and mix well|
