    Orange Drop Scones Recipe - Mary Berry Scones Recipe with step wise pictures.

    Super moist and fluffy orange scones taste great with warm orange syrup. This is perfect for a special breakfast.

    If your kids love pancakes then you are in luck. This is a delicious pancakes recipe which has orange scent to it. It is serve with a buttery orange sauce which taste out of this world.

    Ingredients
      

    • FOR ORANGE SCONES:
    • Egg - 1
    • Sugar - 3 tblsp
    • Milk - ¾ cup
    • Orange Zest - 1 tsp
    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 ½ cup
    • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
    • Oil for pan frying

    FOR ORANGE SYRUP:

    • Orange Juice - 1 cup
    • Brown Sugar - ¼ cup
    • Unsalted Butter - 3 tblsp

    Instructions
     

    • Take orange juice, brown sugar and butter in a sauce pan and boil till syrupy. Set aside.
    • Take egg, sugar, milk, orange zest in a bowl. Add flour, baking powder and mix well.
    • Heat oil for pan frying. Drop spoonful of batter in and fry till golden brown.
    • Remove and serve with syrup.

    2)Add in sugar

    3)Add in milk

    4)Add in orange zest

    5) Add in all purpose flour / maida

    7)Whisk well

    8)Add in oranges

    9)Squeeze orange juice in the pan

    10)Add in brown sugar

    11)Add in butter

    12)Heat it

    13)Cook till the butter melts

    14)Boil till it gets syrupy

    15)Heat oil in a pan

    16)Spoon the batter

    17)Cook till the top gets bubbly.

    18)Flip over and cook

    19)Remove to a bowl.

    20)Take few scones to a plate.

    21)Spoon the orange sauce on top.

    22)Serve
