Delicious sandwich made using carrots. The sandwich base is white sauce which I made using wheat flour instead of maida. So it is actually very healthy, also I used my homemade wheat bread for making this sandwich.

How to Make Carrot Cheese White Sauce Sandwich

Heat 1 tbsp butter. Add in carrot, onion and green chillies. Saute for a minute. Set aside.

Heat 1 more tbsp butter. Add in flour. Stir fry for 1 min.

Add in milk slowly and keep mixing till thick.

Add in carrot back in along with salt, pepper and italian seasoning. Mix well.

Now take bread slice, spread with ketchup. Top with some filling, sprinkle more cheese. Cover with another bread slice.

Melt butter in a sandwich maker. Place sandwich in, spread more butter on top. Cover and grill till golden.

Slice and serve.

Carrot Cheese White Sauce Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 large Carrot grated
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 1 Green Chilli chopped
- 3 tbsp Wheat flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- 1 cup Cheese grated
- 8 Bread slice
- 4 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp butter. Add in carrot, onion and green chillies. Saute for a minute. Set aside.

- Add in milk slowly and keep mixing till thick.
- Add in carrot back in along with salt, pepper and italian seasoning. Mix well.

Notes
- You can use brown bread or white bread as you prefer.
- Cheese is optional in this recipe. You can skip if you want.
- Use grill sandwich maker or sandwich toaster to make this sandwich.
- You could use any vegetables as you like.
- Make the filling a day ahead and store in fridge until needed.

6)Heat some more butter in the same pan.
7)Add in wheat flour

10)Mix well and cook till sauce thickens
11)Add in sauted carrots.
12)Mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
13)Mix well. This is the filling.
14)Add in italian seasoning.
15)Add as much as you like.

17)Spread some tomato ketchup on bread. Spread the filling in.
18)Sprinkle cheese on top.
19)Sandwich with other slice.
20)Heat butter in the grill pan.
21)Place bread slice.
22)Spread butter on top.
23)Cover and cook till golden brown.
