    Chicken Do Pyaza Curry Recipe - Murg Do Pyaza Recipe with step wise pictures.

    Spicy Chicken do pyaza curry which has double the amount of onions and this curry has a sweet flavour from the onions which taste so yum.

    I have shared so many chicken recipes, but still i have tons to share. One of the main recipe which many of you asked is this chicken do pyaza. Chicken do pyaza is nothing but chicken which is cooked in a onion gravy, but it has two forms of onions added in it. Onions has been chopped finely and cubes of onions have been added. All these onions makes it taste so yummy.

    Ingredients

    • Oil - ¼ cup
    • Onion - 2 large chopped finely
    • Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tblsp
    • Tomatoes - 4 large pureed
    • Chilli Powder - 1 tblsp
    • Coriander Powder - 1 tblsp
    • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
    • Cumin Powder - 1 tblsp
    • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tblsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Green Chillies - 2 to 4 slit
    • Onion - 1 large chopped in cubes
    • Tomato - 1 large cubed
    • Coriander Leaves a small handful chopped
    • Water as needed

    FOR CHICKEN:

    • Chicken - 500 grams
    • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblsp
    • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
    • Salt to taste

    FOR YOGURT MIX:

    • Curd / Yogurt - 1 cup
    • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
    • Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 2 tblsp
    • Salt to taste

    Instructions

    • Take chicken in a bowl, add all ingredients given and mix well. Set aside.
    • Take yogurt in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
    • Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and cook till golden.
    • Add in ginger garlic paste and mix well.
    • Add in tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
    • Add in yogurt mix and cook till oil separates.
    • Add in spice powders and salt and mix well.
    • Add in chicken and toss well.
    • Add salt, water. Add in half of the cubed onions. cover and cook till chicken is done.
    • Now add in onions, tomatoes and chillies.
    • Turn off the heat and add corinder leaves.
    • Mix well and serve.

    Pictorial:

    1)Take yogurt in a bowl.

    3)Whisk till mixed

    4)Take chicken in a bowl

    5)Add in ginger garlic paste, salt and turmeric powder

    6)Mix well and leave to marinate overnight.

    7)Heat oil in a pot. Add in chopped onions

    8)Fry till golden brown

    9)Now it is golden

    10)Add ginger garlic paste

    11)Mix well

    12)Add tomato puree

    13)Mix well

    14)Cook till oil separates

    26)Now chicken is done.
