    This is a delicous kuzhambu recipe made using coconut which taste very delicious with rice and any sidedish. This is so easy to make as well.

    Coconut Puli Kuzhambu Recipe

    Ingredients
      

    • Gingelly Oil - 3 tblsp
    • Vadakam - 5 pieces
    • Fenugreek seeds / Vendayam - ¼ tsp
    • Curry Leaves - a handful
    • Shallots - 10 peeled
    • Garlic - 20 cloves peeled
    • Sambar Powder - 3 tblsp
    • Tamarind - 1 small lemon size
    • Salt to taste
    • Jaggery - 1 tsp

    FOR GRINDING:

    • Coconut - ½ cup
    • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
    • Garlic - 3 cloves
    • Green Chillies - 2

    Instructions
     

    • Grind ingredients given for grinding to a coarse paste.
    • Heat oil and fry fenugreek seeds and vadagam.
    • Add curry leaves, shallots and garlic.
    • Add sambar powder and mix well.
    • Add tamarind paste and water.
    • Then add in coconut paste and mix well. Add salt and jaggery and mix well.
    • Simmer for 10 mins.
    • Serve.

    1)Take coconut, garlic, cumin seeds, green chillies and turmeric powder in a blender
