    About Poondu Kanji

This is one recipe which i got from my perimma. She gave it to me and mom when i had my baby. It is a best post pregnancy porridge for lactating moms. It increases the supply of breast milk.

I used to have this porridge at least thrice or four times a week. The main thing is the amount of garlic and milk added in this. That is so good for lactating moms. And the addition of long pepper helps clear any throat or cold. And dried ginger powder helps in digestion.

Great recipe! I'm not breastfeeding right now, but I was feeling unwell on Sunday, so I needed something filling and comforting for breakfast that wouldn't take too much work. So I found this porridge recipe and bam! we had a quick breakfast. This is going into my ironclad recipe set.
